Tamara Burross Grisanti earned her BA in English Literature from SUNY Buffalo State. She took a class in literary publishing from Kim Chinquee, which led to her being brought on board as associate editor of ELJ – Elm Leaves Journal in 2014. Since then she has started an online journal of dark literature, Coffin Bell Journal, and joined New World Writing‘s masthead as social media editor. Her poetry and fiction appear or are forthcoming in New World Writing, The Literary Hatchet, Pussy Magic, Corvus Review, formercactus, Chicago Literati, and Eunoia Review.

Her true passions are writing and editing, and she loves helping new writers. One of the great joys of editing Coffin Bell is the ability to publish emerging voices alongside established writers.
