Year-End Review

It’s been a great 2018. Way back on January first of this year, Coffin Bell Journal launched its first issue. Since then, we’ve put out all four scheduled quarterly issues and sent out newsletters every thirteenth and interviewed contributors for our ongoing interview series. I’m doing what I love doing and that’s why I can say I’m living the dream.

Over the course of 2018, I was lucky enough to have the following pieces published:

Sermon on the Mount” at Pussy Magic (with Justin Karcher)

“The Apparition” in The Literary Hatchet (print)

Don’t Try to Be the Forest” at Corvus Review (download issue 10; pg. 130 of the PDF, or read here)

Entropy” at Eunoia Review

Everyday Inconveniences” at formercactus

I’ve been writing a lot lately for my novel-in-progress, the title of which I’m keeping under wraps. I wrote over 15,000 words in two days! I’m looking forward to finishing it in 2019 and voyaging into the world of agents and publishing houses. In the meantime, I’ll be at my desk reading, writing, and editing.

I wish you all a restful and productive conclusion to the 2018 holidays and a spectacular 2019! Onward and onward!
